I have over 20 years of experience helping adults, children and families in community mental health clinics, schools, hospitals and private practice.  My approach integrates psychodynamic and attachment theories and my specialties include trauma, addiction and marital/partner relationships.  I am particularly empathethic to the unique stressors experienced by medical professionals and members of the LGBT community.

I believe my patients are the ultimate experts on themselves.  I find the most success working with smart people who are stuck and looking for creative solutions to the stressors of daily life and difficult transitions.  I work with clients to honor and recognize the pain of the past and identify what keeps them from moving forward.  I create a space where mistakes are not only allowed but encouraged as we build insight and develop your authentic self.
